I kept walking toward the CBD and it was past midnight, didn't wanna end my bday early (sadge), so popped into the only pub/restaurant that was open that looked inviting

made me think of my 21st birthday, cuz I was walking back from the direction of the zoo to my CBD airbnd. there was this amazing restaurant on the way, best gyros I've ever had, tbf I was so very hungry late in the evening. like 10pm, but it was open late.

anyway, I had a cup of kalamata olives for lunch today, makes a great snack when rinsed, add salt, oregano and black pepper. cashew nuts and green pesto is optional. just my weird recipe.

almost went to a Kimbra gig, it would have been like 25 aud but I passed, went and saw some smaller indie bands instead

and I kid you not there was a Rick Astley gig by the rollercoaster park place

saw some koalas🐨 and wallabies hopping freely next to me 🦘(australian rabbits basically) and some rare birds. cool zoo, no roos. too dangerous I suppose? Penguins you can see for free on the beach. 🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧 the place is basically california palm tree vibe with weird flora and fauna.

I spent a week suffering from travellers diarrhea, thankfully the doc billed me like 50 dollarydoos for diagnosis. Plus, two weeks suffering from jet lag, so really I was "there" for only 4 weeks.

Melbs got trams, city rail, European architecture mixed with modern steel and glass, and a big river. Casino's not too bad either. The suburban sprawl is my least favorite feature #melbourne

I airbnb'd at this red brick building west-ish of the CBD occupied by some italian dudes. I had to share a room with a guy who was snoring, so asked to relocate to the couch instead

I remember it well. I visited Melbs around my 21st birthday, early summer. I got so much attention, I think they thought I looked like Allday 😄 Got drunk party girls waving at me from minibuses driving past, people waving at me near St Kilda

Melbourne is really my favorite Australian city. It's the most European, too. Lovely people from all over Europe have immigrated there. Colorful place.

People should be thinking longterm and look optimistically at the future. I got my plans set until 2050, I got plans for the next 500 years.

If anyone wants to be dragged to the 21st century instead of looking back at the 1900s, I'm more than happy to help. We're over 1/4 the way to 22nd century in fact.
