Next week, I'll present a paper entitled "Roman plebs and indebtedness: the 'crisis of entitlement' of 384" at the University of Edinburgh's event "Shifting frontiers in Late Antiquity and Early Middle Ages". This paper is part of my PhD research on credit and social relationships in Late Antiquity.

While driving along a rural road today at 7 am, I was lost in thought about work and how tough this week has been when I spotted a wee bunny hopping in the middle of the road. I couldn't help but slow down and admire it. I must say that seeing it changed my mood and gave me the energy to carry on.
