Haunted Canada the Graphic novel volume 1 is officially an award winning graphic novel having won the Yellow Cedar award and I am over the moon about this! Getting to adapt one of Joel Sutherlands stories alongside Hannah Barret, Jenn Woodall, and David Bishop has been a dream!

Love him or hate him the fact remains that in the final years of his life Stan Lee was the victim of elder abuse. We know this because Stan was suing his abusers, but this new "documentary" is only adding on the exploitation of Stan and it's disgusting to see Jon Bolerjack add on to it.

Creators, don’t stop pitching queer content to editors, producers, etc. because you’re afraid it’s going to be stifled going forward. That just helps the bad guys. Don’t pre-censor yourself or the industry you’re in!

Last day at my job as an art instructor. I've been working at this school in Mississauga for five years now and seen the good and the not so good parts. Feels weird knowing this is the last day I'll be teaching in these studios. Maybe I'll teach again but not for a while.

Four days ago Calypso came to live with us. Very shy and keeping a distance from our two other cats Spyro and Zelos. In the span of two days shes jumping on my lap and letting the others come next to her. What a wonderful week.

Just fold the studio into Disney and kill it already. Make Toy Story sequels till the sun fucking burns out. Love how this shift conveniently happened when more woman/POC were really pushing to direct their own stories. Defining their experiences as not "universal" is saying the quiet part aloud.
