The AirPods Pro 3 sound significantly better than any AirPod Pros before them. This isn't some vague audiophile "they sound much warmer" thing. Music is clearer, especially the low end. And I'm hearing instruments in every range that I previously didn't know were there.

Always and forever

Field of Vision was the first time I ever brought a bubble gun to a show. It took some effort to sneak in, but it was so worth it. People loved it; some lost their minds. And my beautiful babies made it into the show stream.

Thoughts about my first @billystrings.com show: 1. I didn’t miss a drummer; I danced all show. 2. The sound in the room was bad, so much slapback. 3. It was so jammy, stuff got weird and that’s a very good thing. 4. It makes me happy seeing how deeply people are into this music and this scene.

Highly enjoyed my first Billy Strings show. Shame it took me this long, but you can bet I’ll be there the next time they come around.

Congrats to the couple at the Billy Strings show who got engaged in GA during In The Clear.

Find me at the Eugene Billy Strings show. I don’t usually wear printed shirts, but I’ve met so many good people because *they* were wearing shirts from bands I like that I figured I’d give it a try.

Going to see Billy Strings for the first time tomorrow. Even though I’m a fan and I watch a lot of the live streams, I really don’t know what it’s going to be like. The thing I’m most curious about is dancing. Can I dance for three hours without a percussionist playing? Do people dance all show?

Still thinking a lot about this Float Along – Fill Your Lungs tribute to Matt Gawaik who passed away at (or near) Field of Vision on Friday. This is beautiful and cathartic.
