New Hampshire is losing millions of dollars in federal funding because Governor Ayotte is refusing to join lawsuits against the Trump administration. Every other state in New England sued and won to get funding restored, all except New Hampshire and we're going to pay the price for it.

Amazing news! I just got word that Kelly Ayotte has just vetoed HB148, a bill that would repeal non-discrimination protections for trans people in New Hampshire. It was a long and at many times terrifying journey, but I'm glad she understood how terrible this would be for all Granite Staters.

Today at the statehouse has been a bit of a rollercoaster, but I am very proud that HB142 was passed in the house to honor Gold Star Families who have lost children serving in the military. We were able to get my bipartisan amendment through and pass this overdue legislation! Now on to the Senate!

No matter what happens today with HB148, seeing the support from the trans community this morning gave me a lot of hope that we aren't going down without a fight.

Turns out Trump's genius strategy is slapping tariffs on our closest allies, then backing down when they promise to keep doing what they were already doing. Higher grocery prices are just the cost we pay for... nothing. Truly the art of the deal.

Just received guidance from the NH SOS on implementing HB1569, which will screw many people trying to register to vote here. It is brutal. Among other things, a birth certificate with a different name on the current ID (i.e. married) is insufficient to register. #NHPolitics

My contribution to the Elon discourse is that during a SpaceX intern Q&A in 2022 he ate two Uncrustable sandwiches that a random intern gave him and decided his favorite flavor was grape. He hadn’t eaten an Uncrustable before then, and yes he is as big of an idiot as a boss as he is an oligarch.
