Here’s Lucy. She ran for Utah senate in 1896. Hosted Susan B Anthony during a suffrage meeting in 1870 Utah. Spoke before Republican county convention in 1895-first time women could participate.

Just got a comment that suffrage wasn’t for all women. I know that and it does anger me. But researching my suffragette ancestor, Lucy Clark, life I found she traveled and spoke for all women to have the right to vote. She gave up a lot, including her marriage, due to this passion.
