Benches, benches, more benches. Having worked in over 350 cities, maybe in 1% I saw too many benches; in the other 99% there was need for more & better places to sit, especially in PUBLIC places as parks & sidewalks. It's Cities making living Healthier & Happier the easy choice.

Leadership by example! Show... don't tell. It works with parents and children, and also city / country leaders and its population. How are their lifestyles, what do they eat, drink, activities they practice. See president Macron running the streets of Mumbai before meeting with PM Modi. Nice.

Off to a healthy start... Children do better at school when they walk or bike there. Adults also do better at work after some exercise. Great to have seen French President Macron on a morning jog on Mumbai's streets before work meetings with India's PM Modi. Modi did some yoga, always.

Programs, programs, programs... Worked in 350+ cities and it seems easier to find a million $$ to build a park, than a few thousands to make it work! Cities should provide micro-grants / seed $$ for citizens to organize programs. Ex. priority: over 55 y/o, outdoor, groups; knit & Talk, walk, dance.

Our 'Third Act' is about freedom. Our time to ENJOY! First act dependent, school, parents. Second act work, pressure, kids, parents, society... Third act is the time to do all we ever wanted to, but never had the time... Working in Katowice, Poland, with olders walking the park.

Canada's superb Olympic Men's Hockey team in Milano. How do they get around the city? Walking and using public transit, of course. A civilized city is NOT where the poor have cars; it's where the rich use public transit. (E.P.) Milano seems to be pretty civilized. Nice!!
