There's a fun easter egg in the card art for Beasts. Each set of number cards can be laid out to form views of the same nature scene at different times. Each suit represents a different season. And whole/broken variants represent day vs night scenes. So, there's 8 card panoramas in all!

Finally got to introduce my fiancé to the game Menara. Such a fun co-operative dexterity game about building a temple.

At last night's game design meetup another designer said that I'm really good at making products. It's a great compliment, but it also amuses me at the same time.

I would say to the game devs out there, but I know it's not their fault, so I will instead say to the corporate overlords that make the decisions on Pre-order and Deluxe Editions. For single-player games, I don't want additional resources to start the game with especially in a survival-horror game.

Silksong is coming out on Sept 4th, a day before Cronos: The New Dawn! Why would they do this to me?! What is this torture?!!!

Had pickled peaches for the first time today. To say I may have reached enlightenment might be an understatement.

Treated myself to a movie today and went and saw The Bad Guys 2. Loved it, had me smiling through-out. Probably a bit biased as I have a thing for animals that pull off heists. Makes me want to get back to trying to design a co-op heist game.

Finally got around to watching "In a Violent Nature". An interesting take on a slasher film that really made me consider a killer's motivation how it plays into the story. Definitely something I'm gonna be pondering on for my survival horror board game.

Couldn’t sleep so I decided to start watching The Haunting of Hill House in the middle of the night with the lights off and headphones on. I make good decisions.

How many times are you allowed to re-theme a board game design? I think I just discovered an untapped genre that my survival game could fit right into and it’s all I can think about now.

Only the third ever playtest of my new co-op game Ravenous Seas. With a few tweaks from the previous version, the core system is definitely taking shape.

I'm glad I primarily drink water now as accidentally spilling my glass on my desk isn't nearly as destructive and is much easier to clean up.

New cider we recently picked up. Mango & Habanero is definitely an interesting mix.

Finally got to go see Superman (since everyone kept telling me how good it was) and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Looking forward to more DC films in this universe.

Haven't messed with an RPG Maker program since middle school and decided the Steam Summer Sale was a perfect excuse to pick one up and mess around with it.

Finally was able to sit down and watch the new movie KPop Demon Hunters and it was a blast. Already added most of the songs to my playlist.

Ran my second session of Daggerheart and it was a blast. Threw some curve balls at my players and it definitely made things interesting.

Catching up on movies and the new Predator: Killer of Killers was really cool. Could easily have seen parts of it being fleshed out into their own individual movies.

Just finished running the introduction for my Daggerheart campaign and feeling really good about it.

Went to a Zoo, saw some animals, it was pretty cool.
