Avid reader. Love crafts/adult colouring. Wildlife and conservation. Vegetarian. And more reading!
pinned post!
Just made a start on this series after seeing so many recommendations. Really enjoyed this introduction to Poe and Tilly and will definitely be reading more. A dark crime thriller with nice touches of humour.

Just finished this extremely well written novel based on a true life murder case in the 1920s. It was gripping, emotional and the research was perfectly balanced with the storytelling. Will definitely be seeking out

One of the things I really enjoy about Bluesky is no 'What's Happening' column on the desktop version and no 'Discover' on the app. This always got me riled, so much so, I'd usually set my location to Japan so that I couldn't read it.

A 5* Review of Eazee Life. โThis is a really compelling dystopian story, which resonates as being a realistic if pessimistic vision of the future. The characters are excellently drawn, and the world-building is so good. Itโs a page-turner because of both the plot and the writing.'

Looking at 'X' is like walking down the Charing Cross Road and seeing former much-loved antiquarian bookshops turned into nail parlours, tacky souvenir outlets and garish money-laundering confectioners. It's not just the sad loss of what went before; it's rage and disgust at what we have now.
