I need people to know that the photos of colourful moon are not from Artemis II. They were made by a Ukrainian photographer, who enhanced the colours of the moon's surface to represent its mineral composition. I can't stand to see an individual work be misattributed and misrepresented like this.

Airfix Centurion restoration update, final (for now?). Polychromos silver scratching, charcoal fixative spray varnish. My father and I assembled this kit in ~1991 when neither of us knew what we were doing. It was picked up again in 1995 when I was 11 and modelling techniques far less refined.

One interesting thing I noticed about tigers/pantherine cats vs felinae cats is the orientation of stripes on their face. On pantherine cats it is concentric circles, on felinae cats it radiates outwards from a central point!

Survived Easter celebrations thus far. Cooked chakalaka with chicken for my parents. Going with a beef bourguignon style since it's what I know. Haven't quite managed to replicate the particular sweet onion taste that made me fall in love with chakalaka, but came out quite delicious.

Recently rewatched Haibane Renmei, one of my personal favourites, in its entirety. Was not only as good as I remember, but even better now that I have 20+ more years of life experience to process. Was the first media that made young adult I at all discover feeling emotional on an everyday level.

Lex is one of the best artists I know in her niche - possibly actually *the* best as I have seen her refine her style ever further over the past decade. Do warmly recommend giving her work a look.

Have a friend who's by all means doing fine but he's mentioned when he moved from one side of the country to the other getting testosterone prescriptions transferred was a pain. Makes you wonder how much "invisible" discrimination through stalling and inconveniencing goes on under the surface here.
