i didn't even play X/Y going into this game and i still loved every bit of it now i wanna play X/Y for the context

i hadn't played pokemon since i was a kid, but after seeing Z-A it sparked my interest in the franchise again i was unsure about Z-A tho since i heard it was different from the main games, so i went with violet to get a more traditional pokemon experience but with a modern feel

all challenges completed 🏆 these were a nice way to freshen up the game after so much gold stake - while most (except golden needle) were a breeze, they all put fun and creative twists on the game

5⭐️ dheavy easily the worst or 2nd worst splatling for me; the main weapon is cracked but kraken on it feels awful, this thing would be a beast if it got a good 3rd kit

every deck beaten on gold stake 🏆 i want to get completionist++ eventually, but i'll probably take a break from gold stake for now and finally start doing those challenges

i'm adding cooler weapons to my weapon pool like i'm collecting the infinity stones i need bp/naut/heavy 3rd kits before i learn another cooler weapon and get all 6 (i'm at 5)

4 shoot the moons has to be the stupidest run i've done yet (i lost)

when it's 1-1 in a bo3 set and i *need* to make sure i pick the right edit that has an extremely similar icon to the other one with 1 second left on the timer

Heavy splatling is very very very very good, if given a good kit “backline” splatling can be real again

choosing to take splatoon less seriously and not play solo q at all felt like a good decision for me; the times i get on the game nowadays feel better and more fun as a result then balatro came in and filled that gap lol

stuck on finding weapons to play... backline feels so underwhelming rn

whenever a splatoon clip comes up in my feed i first look top right at the sub/special to judge whether the clip is worth watching or not examples: burst + booyah = scroll, sprinkler + cooler = scroll (check it's not vdynamo first)

tried balatro for the first time yesterday and it's been really fun so far, but i can't get past 5 ante in any of my runs no matter how hard i try 😭

recently i've felt quite disillusioned with comp and i wasn't really sure why, but all these threads popping up might have helped me find the answer i've been looking for: i can still play comp and not HAVE to take the game super seriously; being a casual comp player is OK

i considered solo maining bp, but after playing it for a bit i've concluded it isn't for me atm (in comp) the main weapon feels good, but the kits not so much
