A cropped WiP of something I started last night as a warmup. Using 'difficult' brushes to try and get interesting texture and colour variation. I used the lasso tool and some colour randomiser brushes and it worked nicely for getting some tones down quickly. #dragonage #Solas

I guess it might finally be time to do more here than over on the dying bird app. There needs to be a better way to advertise yourself as a freelance artist. I get all of my commissions over there.

Solas Greatly Disapproves I think you underestimate how hurtful it can be to judge somebody by their physical appearance. Before the Veil, we could exist in forms beyond compare, constrained by nothing save our own imagination. Or at least, that’s just what I’ve heard, as I am only a simple mage.

Happy Dragon Age Day! I made some Dragon Age Dreadwolf fan art titled ‘Wrath of the Dread Wolf’ Here’s hoping for some news soon. I started this on my PC but had to finish on my old iPad in CSP. I miss this sad old elf.

Working on a thing for fun, Karlach from Baldur's Gate 3. I love this woman, just the best character with the worst deal. Just about every companion has a plotline dealing with serving someone powerful willingly or not. Her breaking moment late in act 3 had me in tears.

Third is the painting I probably spent more time on than any other art before or since. A commission of Solas and Lavellan by @ DreadWolfTakeUs over on the ex-bird app. With much advice from fellow Solavellan artists including kindly done paintovers of parts I struggled with.

Next up is my favourite art from last year: fan art of Laerryn Coramar-Seelie from Critical Role EXU: Calamity. She belongs to Aabria Iyengar and I just adored her. I have a WiP of her dashing ex husband coming sometime soon.

Time to start posting art! I'll start with a quick (I don't exactly know how this happened and struggle repeating it) style study of my main subject in art: Solas, of Dragon Age notoriety.
