I won't QT, but I saw a post that referred to a weekly show as a "dribbled series". "Dribbled"!

I didn't realize this about Apple TV, but they apparently release episodes at 9 PM ET the evening *before* the official release date, so Pluribus ep3 should be on tonight. Whee!

That first Chicago snow really scared the hell out of them.

Watching last night's Inside the NBA and was reminded of an old joke from Pete Axthelm on the NBC NFL Pre-Game Show: "Smashed Window Special" was a game so unattractive that if someone walked by your car and saw two tickets laying on the seat, he'd smash the window and leave two more.

If you do watch this show, the production values are movie level. This was not a cheap show to make. And then I listen to the podcast and holy moley it's crazy what they did for this show. I mean, they practically built a cul-de-sac with houses and whatnot.

Oooooo. Pluribus on Apple TV. It's even weirder than I imagined. Good show, two episodes in. And there's a companion podcast. The ones for Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul were very good. Learned a lot about production and creation.

It's funny how U.S. history goes through cycles. Many of the issues in this movie echo today. Beyond that, there are excellent performances from the cast and Nick Offerman - who I wanted to see play Teddy Roosevelt someday - is pretty brilliant as Chester Alan Arthur!

Late NFL Trade Deadline news: The Underworld Hellspawns have signed Richard Cheney off of waivers. The '66 graduate of the University of Wyoming is a gunslinger with the ball, but has had some trouble reading defenses. Cheney will be QB2 behind Ben Rothlisberger, whose arrival is anticipated.
