A funny idea I had was if Sonic Racing Crossworlds did what Sakurai did and had amiibo of every single playable character to work as Figure Racers on the Switch and Switch 2 versions. It's a funny and interesting idea, but sadly was never going to work out. I'll explain why on both ends.
