HVES's Makerspace is officially open. 2S proved that purpose & choice brings focus, even when you have to back up & try again. Trees made in many ways, spinners, marble runs, circuits & more. Success

I gave my Kindergartners & first graders the choice of creating an ornament using cardboard and a bin of scrap materials. The open-ended design challenge led to an amazing range of creativity! One student made a snowman… another made Larry! #STEM #STEAM #EduSky

Curation & organization of Harbour View's maker space is inspiring. Donations, gathered pieces & tech roll out items are carefully labeled & parked in their own spot. It's about starting where you are with what you have in the space available. So inspired that the ideas & notes wrote themselves.
