I talk to the press professionally, I'm really, really, really good at it. So please, please believe me when say you cannot turn this interview request into anything good, it will do only harm. Harm to you, harm to your child, harm to other children.

One thing that I think is often overlooked in social-media astrology is differentiating between the natural/universal signification of a planet and the topical/functional significations it carries. Too much emphasis on the former at the expense of the latter. Thanks for coming to my TED talk/rant.

Happy 350th birthday to the Royal Observatory, Greenwich! the foundation stone was laid at 3:14 pm on 10 August 1675 (OS). We know because the astronomer there, John Flamsteed, drew up a horoscope. See more here

i knew the urban legend that whatever astrology topic one presents at conference, one will live out IRL. did not consider referring to all stelliums as inherently malefic (save one, which I don’t happen to have) would amplify the maleficence of my own!

On the morning of 12 August there will be a telescopically close conjunction of Venus and Jupiter, the brightest planets in the night sky. Also all four of Jupiter's Galilean moons will be visible too. Fantastic observing and photographic opportunity. 🔭 🧪

The #1 way to explain America working properly is by saying “comedians can make fun of he President on TV.” A good way to explain fascism is “the President forces companies to fire those comedians as a condition of allowing them to conduct business.”

remember to stop and smell the roses or whatever else soothes your nervous system! it’s a radical act of defiance when the powers that be aim to keep us overwhelmed, scared, and confused. and it’s necessary if we aim to do the good work, too. (reminder for myself as much as anyone else)
