Losey's Mr. Klein is just an amazing film. Maybe comparable to Fritz Lang's Hangmen Also Die, in that the detective is not really the hero... but then he's not quite a villain as in the Lang film. See it won a few awards, but none for Franco Solinas as screenwriter... an oversight there.
