We welcome this change to cervical screening - a result of years of research to make it more effective. Screening, alongside the HPV vaccine our scientists helped develop, has seen cervical cancer rates fall by around 25% since the early 1990s. We look forward to more progress.

It was inspiring to meet Branwen, who was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2018 after seeking help. Early detection saves lives - if you spot symptoms that are unusual, speak to your GP.
