It's my day off and I'm feeling ill. So, it's time to try the AMC Interview with a Vampire series again cos I failed at sticking with it last time and I wanna see the Vampire Lestat story arc so much. The books and original movies were a huge influence on teenage me.

Finally, I played the Modulus demo from @happyvolcano.com a lovely little factory automation game. I can see myself getting fully hyper focussed on this once it launches. And on that note, off I go on holiday. 🎉

This demo is also super cool. I love a shop sim and this one is a great twist with awesome 2D hand drawn style art and a great soundtrack. How many more demos can I fit in before my holiday? Find out later.

Just finished this demo and it was very, very silly. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys Rick & Morty style humour and D&D parody. Great art style and there's a crab! 🦀🦀🦀

The LinkedIn algorithm is so weird. You would assume that increased quality engagement would translate as increased organic reach but it does not. It feels completely random. I have close to 10,000 followers over there and often posts get seen by less than 500 people. 🤷‍♀️

I watched the ANTM documentary, Reality Check this week. I grew up watching the show, I've seen every season, it inspired me to try being a model from the age of 16 and later a photographer. I did not remember it being that unethical. Early 00s reality TV & beauty standards were SO messed up. 😭

Last night I won a mini Troll for being the fastest person to recognise the theme tune to Rugrats. I've been told this is peak millennial. I am proud.

Been rewatching True Blood for the first time in actual years. I was such a huge fan when it was new and so happy that it's still good fun.

We did it!! After an hour in a virtual queue at 1am and a minor mistake. Japan may be futuristic in some ways this ticketing method is pain. 🥲

Designing a game that serves a specific audience is marketing. Researching that audience and the competition is marketing. Optimising a store page for visibility is marketing. It is not possible to launch a game with zero marketing, stop pretending that it is.
