It's really difficult to exemplify how much David Lynch inspired aspects of the games, there's just so much of him in almost every entry. Names, plot points, scenery... He might not be the sole or largest influence, but he left a clear mark in the games we love.

Last night I replayed Silent Hill 4. I picked up the “Lynch Street Line Coin” and was reminded again that one of the most amazing creators has influenced so many things I love. David Lynch’s legacy will live on through everything he has made and everyone he has inspired.
