im (finally) trying out MML cuz i thought it might be a fun little challenge, but this actually fucking rules???!!!! this feels like the ideal way 2 write music

its fun writing a song around string quartet parts cuz u can control so much of the songs flow w just articulations & dynamics... im used 2 styles where most of that is done by adding/removing/swapping sounds. its nice 2 just be like "this is the pizzicato section" & "this is the forte section"

The FM synth soundtrack actually already exists for Amagami as a semi-secret menu option! Noriyuki Iwadare was hired to rewrite all of the music for the PC-98, which he did on authentic hardware, and you can actually enable it in-game at any time from the options menu in every version of the game.

Queen of treasure isle is an INCREDIBLE puzzle platformer metroidvania type thing, full of the best pixel art around and enough secrets to keep you puzzling for days. I can't recommend it enough, but i'll try because it ABSOLUTELY deserves as much.

I played two hours of the new Shizuku translation last night. While I'm not the biggest fan of the font, the script itself reads very well. I definitely wouldn't recommend Shizuku to most people (it's very NSFW) but it's really fascinating to finally play this historically important VN in English.
