ROCHEL PINSON, 102 Senior Chabad Emissary Together with her husband, Rabbi Nissan Pinson, she was sent by the Rebbe to help Jewish life in North Africa, beginning in the early 1950s. After her husband's passing, she continued overseeing Chabad in Tunisia.

They asked Rabbi Schneur Zalman, the first rebbe of Chabad: "Which is greater: love of G-d, or love of your fellow Jew?" "Love of your fellow Jew," he replied. "For then you love that which your Beloved loves."

Keep your trust in G-d for yourself. When things don't go so well, tell yourself it is all really for the good, and rejoice in however G-d treats you. But when others come with their troubles, telling them they should rejoice in their afflictions can be callous and even cruel.
