Honest review... First half is a solid 3/5 and then it elevates to 4/5 in the second half. Great action sequences, daft humour, a very 80's rock soundtrack and Skeletor is seriously well realised. Oh and several end credits scenes. It really is the cartoon come to life and I really enjoyed it! 4/5

#Backrooms As a feature debut by a 19yr old it's seriously impressive and I liked the score but as a horror fan, the actual storyline felt derivative of novel House of Leaves, and other films. Plus, I thought Exit 8 explored similar themes but better. Still worth a look if you liked that film. 3/5

#Scream7 🔪 is better than 5+6, but the new cast has no characterisation and are mere fodder. The legacy characters are nicely used and #NeveCampbell is always a great watch. But it's all so pointless and the killer reveal is very poor! It's just about a 3/5 for me, but I think we could end it here.

All I can say is read the book it's based on - Box Hill. #Pillion is so far removed from it, which is a major disappointment. Just watched @runningmanmovie.com 🏃🏻 It's a good 30 mins too long, the script is ropey at times and it's not satirical or comical enough BUT I still enjoyed it. It's a big, daft popcorn movie that has some decent set pieces and a fun central performance by #GlenPowell. It's a 3.5/5 from me!

Just watched #GuillermodelToro #Frankenstein. Once got past the fact it's camp gothic, rather than dark gothic I really enjoyed it. #JacobElordi is excellent as The Monster, the cinematography is sumptuous and it's a (relatively) faithful adaptation of the original novel. Worth seeing at the cinema!
