I am calling out this appalling gendered signage endorsed by Manny Cicchiello Liberal Party for Aston (neighbour to Casey). I asked Manny today if he would remove these signs but he refused to talk with me. It is an indictment on the Liberal Party that they support these signs being displayed.

This is an affront to every public servant in Australia. As a former public servant I celebrate the role of the public service to provide frank and fearless advice. Those that breach the Code of Conduct must be held to account and not able to return. Our values are shown by who we associate with.

Looking for clear evidence the major parties make decisions for vested interests and donors - this is it. 86% of Australian support a ban on gambling advertising, online grooming of our kids. 1/2

Curious - have you received a letter addressed to the women of the house? Perhaps the Liberal Party doesn’t realise there is a voting cohort called women. In fact we make up 51% of the population. 👀

It's 2025 and yet we're still drawing male anatomy on a female face, horns, fangs, witch teeth, hitler mo, b**th and sl*t. This is not OK. Let's lift the standard we accept, call out misogyny and be better. Democracy is respecting all candidates.

Australians don’t trust politicians and elections are asking voters for their trust. The 1st flyer received from our federal MP Aaron Violi was a data harvesting form designed to deceive us. A targeted scam to get personal details. This behaviour is dishonest and unethical. 1/2

Yep the federal government receives more money from beer than from fossil fuel companies, and the PRRT is forecast to decline! Wish this was a joke but it’s not April Fools Day. We have lost billions of sovereign wealth. In 2025 we must increase the PRRT - Vote 1 Independent.

This election Gen Z & millennial voters are the largest voting block… but they don’t trust government to act on the issues they care about. We need more Community Independents in Canberra that have courage to stand up and be the voice for Gen Z and Millennial voters. 1/2

Need convincing that renewables is the right path? Globally solar installations 100x that for nuclear. The Liberal Party nuclear proposal is a distraction - too slow, too expensive and a 2 billion tonne emissions cherry on top to complete the illusion. It’s bad public policy.

The Liberal Party needs to be reminded we are not living in the 1950s. In 2025 flexibility is for families not for women. Flexibility is for rural electorates like Casey with the lowest number of childcare places in Victoria. Flexibility = productivity = economic empowerment = social inclusion.

Community Independents live in their electorate, they actively listen to amplify the community's many voices on the issues we care about. The community sets the policy, sets the expectations. Democracy is not a spectator sport, this election I invite you to get on the field.
