A bittersweet image... I hauled the D90 around for 20 years. I am a little mushy about its departure. This turned out to be the last last recoverable image out of it...I am now off to the camera stores to find a suitable replacement.

Good Morning gang! I will be using a file image this morning. My oldest (2 decades) beloved Nikon D90 and my 720nm converted camera suffered from a shutter infarction yesterday. The shutter motor is till working so I suspect the little plastic drive gear split. Cowturday will be a little late today!

So haven't been out foraging for images in a few days. We might get out today. It is blowing like crazy! So I am dipping into the file of old things. This is the Roslyn Cafe in Roslyn Washington also known from "Northen Exposure" as "Roslyn's Cafe" seen with Morty the moose in the opening credits!

Good Morning! This is a boat launching crane. You swing it around by hand and back in under the boom. Hook the lifting bridle of your boat on the hook. Crank the winch until your boat is clears the trailer and swing back. Lower the boat into the water, easy unless it's blowing! Be Safe #photography

Crossing the island in the afternoon we found a naked Mt. Pico. She is usually veiled by clouds. Shot from about 4. 5 miles or 7 kilometers back. You will see cows and pasture land up to the mountains flanks. You will see several cinder cone around he mountains base. The largest is in the Pico da

Kind of hurting here for a good weather window for Cowturday which was clearly yesterday. Some of these cows today are unusual and virtually unseen in dairy herds.. anywhere! 🙃 Hopefully the weather turns & we can return to our regularly scheduled ladies of the field this week!
