The ancient Sumerians used “plow my fields” as a euphemism for sex almost 4,000 years ago. I think it’s literally the oldest innuendo we have written record of. There’s a religious poem where Innana the goddess of love and war asks the king Dumuzi to bring his big ox to plow her wet fields.

I have a broken back from lifting yesterday. Today I have read 150 pages of socialist historical critique. Awareness is cool, but I crave the simple oblivion of being under heavy weights. 😭

Finished Mariko Tamaki's She-Hulk storyline, and absolutely loved it. I feel like the plot really makes the main character feel relatable, and is an amazing story about attempting to find yourself after a traumatic event.
