I keep seeing headlines that are of the form: <description of an unnamed musician's style>, age, <does something>. And, it keeps freaking me out because my first impression is that someone whose music I love has died.

I feel like there are very few occasions where someone who claims to be "the only one who can do this for you" turns out to be true.

The concept of "The Biggest Loser" - a reality tv show about obese people losing weight in competition with each other always seemed exploitive to me. This documentary on Netflix makes it look like that show was worse than I thought. I really don't care for "reality tv" in any form.
