It should ring global alarm when one of the biggest TB research grants in history is being axed. Halting trials abruptly is unethical, wastes millions of dollars already invested, and weakens global efforts to control TB. This affects not just high TB burden countries, but Americans as well.

It sells 10s of millions of these tests and dozens others—all using the same technology—many for 5-10 x estimated cost + reasonable profit.
