Books as academic origin stories? The Mind in the Cave is the book that sparked my interest in cave art and prehistory!

Loved this documentary about prehistoric children! I read so many papers by many of the researchers featured for my capstone paper on the same topic. VALOR update: I'm going to sketch VALOR pages for a couple of months and start updating with finished pages again once I have a big buffer of sketched pages built up. Tentative return date will be mid-Dec. This process works better for me than trying to draw a whole page from scratch every week!

I have this urge to apologize for not updating my webcomic, but that's absurd and I don't think that should be my first impulse. Art is hard man. My comic will still be there when I'm feeling better and so will those who want to read it. 💖

I'm having a hard time and might not get a comic page up tomorrow, but I'll try to get something up this week.
