I'll post details in the morning, because I want to triple-check my data, but last year, there were a total of 8 players going into Worlds that had a shot at the Kai Budde award. This year there looks to be almost 5 times that.

If a player has 51 AMP going into Round 16 today, they should be safe for a Worlds at-large invite. Not enough players can jump them at this point, regardless of what happens. #PTEOE

As a reminder, you don't actually need to Top 8 to get a Worlds invite. Just getting to 12 wins gets you there, which really matters for how the AMP rankings shake out.

Results already coming in. Ben Stark, Masahide Moriyama, and Mark Stanton all won. The minimum is currently 49 AMP, and 46 is unlikely to be enough now. 48 still in contention, depending on how things shake out at the top.

2 player will jump to 48 AMP, meaning post R14 48 will be the new minimum needed for 32nd place. Shuhei getting into the Top 8 will no longer be enough for 46 AMP to be good. A second player currently at or above 48 AMP needs to make it. Albert Cordobés has the best shot. #PTEOE

Players to watch for AMP considerations: Shuhei winning removes him from AMP consideration. Both Ryan Condon and Albert Cordobés are 2 wins away from Top 8, and both have more than 46 AMPs. Gab also worth watching, as he has a shot at Top 8. #PTEOE

Some really important matches are still unreported for the round if you're AMP watching. Alexander Rohan vs Gab Nassif is a big one. Gab is currently above the 46 AMP threshold and Alexander isn't, so a Gab win would be a big deal.
