Chatted about the failed model of trans healthcare in Ireland on Ireland AM this morning 🏳️‍⚧️ As @conorocarroll.bsky.social mentioned, there is no clinical justification for how we treat trans people seeking treatment. We need a model that follows international best practice.

Spent my day discussing protest rights, Palestine, Serbia and the Occupied Territories Bill with MEP’s, activists and the UN special rapporteur on freedom of peaceful assembly!

I will continue to stand with, and for, #trans people in #Ireland and elsewhere. We must ensure everyone's rights are protected and guaranteed. We must avoid circling the drain of fascism and form supportive communities that stand together in solidarity.

Feeling incredibly afraid about the real turn we have seen against my fellow trans siblings. The media and politicians have primed so many to hate us. I fear this is only the beginning of a horror to come. Hiding your solidarity is a win for those who wish us gone. Speak loud now.

The Government’s plan to rejuvenate Dublin takes 10 points before it even mentions the communities that live here. This plan is to maximise income from American tourists and suburban shoppers - and to create a city that pushes out the communities that call it home.

I think the tomato bridge was genuinely so beautiful. Being Irish is about not taking yourself too seriously. A fucking bridge with a few tomatoes. Class.
