It's simple, really: Trump thinks it should be illegal to disagree with him. He's a dictator. And since almost nothing he says is true, merely mentioning actual facts is disagreeing with him. Just obsessively reorganized my IDW proofreading and copyediting projects on my laptop: New folders were made. File names were changed. File aliases were deleted. Some new aliases were made. A new spreadsheet was created. Was all this a wise use of my time at 11 at night? No, probably not.

Star Trek Day. I can't remember a time when I didn't love Star Trek. That's over five decades of being a fan. And now two decades of working on it professionally as a writer or editor in books, magazines, RPGs, and comic books. Leaves me kind of speechless. So I'll just repeat: I love Star Trek!

Perhaps my most obscure cinema opinion: If I had a time machine, I'd go back and convince Carol Reed to ditch the zither and have Franz Waxman score The Third Man. I'd allow him to have one scene in a bistro with a diagetic zither, but that's it, that's my final offer.
