I fat-washed some bourbon in brown butter for just such an occasion.

I’m going to attempt a hot buttered bourbon tonight. Let’s see how it goes.

I found a bottle of a 70 dollar 10 year-old rye whiskey on clearance for half off and made probably the best damn Sazerec I’ve ever had with it. I will now sip this out of my Berserk glass while I read the matching manga. (Matching my drinkware to my activity is one of my favorite joys)
