Just beat Illusion of Gaia. Such a special little game. For a game with a ho-hum translation this line has always stuck with me. A lot of Mariko Ohara’s story gets lost in translation but there’s some fascinating themes of exploration and progress and colonialism here. Amazing soundtrack too.

I should probably make some more friends. My socialization with people who aren’t children is severely limited. But I’m also a very nervous creature and never know how to talk to people.
