Brendan Berthold quantifies the macroeconomic and financial effects of Climate Policy Risks (CPR) in Switzerland based on a new index constructed from a large dataset of Swiss media articles.

Anne Darline Youmbi, Betrand Fesuh Nono and Christian Zamo Akono analyze what factors explain differences in access to antenatal care in Cameroon: standard of living, the level of education, the region of residence, distance to health facilities, and the age of the woman.

Guillaume Morlet and Thomas Bolli analyze how working from home affects apprentice’s workplace learning during the pandemic. They find that working from home harms practical, but not theoretical knowledge. This applies to a wide range of occupations and company types.

In the most recent SJES Data publication, Philipp Wegmüller and Christian Glocker propose a Swiss Economic Confidence Index (SEC). This is a monthly indicator based on aggregating a selection of individual survey indicators, which has favorable leading properties for Swiss economic activity.
