Less than 1% of UK aid is targeted specifically at the billion people with disabilities globally. Aid cuts mean that those most marginalised will be left even further behind.

CBM UK welcomes the recognition of the serious impact of the climate crisis on the communities who have done the least to cause it but regrets that there was no mention of disability inclusion.

We believe that people with disabilities must have a seat at the decision-making table and that climate action needs to be strong, inclusive, and well-resourced. We're proud to stand with others calling on the UK Government to champion a bold and fully-funded outcome on just transition at #COP30.
