It's interesting that what we take for granted now wasn't something people always had. Until the 1950's, roads up here weren't paved. My mother, born in the 30's, didn't have running water in her home and had never seen a flush toilet until she was in high school. Progress.

As soon as more of this white stuff melts I'll be starting to build the mudroom I've been wanting to build since we had to have the garage torn down. We want more room in the kitchen(stacked washer and dryer in there) and I just took some measurements, they will be moved into the mudroom.
