World's 50 most food self-sufficient countries - UK isn't on the list 😬.
#ExtremeWeather
is already impacting global food production & as
#ClimateBreakdown
worsens, national food security is evermore vital. UK faces rising prices, scarcity of imports & competition for food in international markets

We could nationalise water for £20 – here’s how

English water companies are financially broken. So why is Labour ruling out nationalisation? They say it would cost too much. That's wrong. It could cost less than a round of drinks.

Imagine if London was a Commons: a city where the land was ours, managed and used for public benefit. Space for people to come together, for food growing, truly affordable housing, more parks and green spaces, more biodiversity, less pollution. A better city is possible! See you on the 27th July

A list of major landowners in the 1800s would contain names familiar to us today. The Duke of Westminster still owns vast estates in Cheshire and Lancashire, as well as large chunks of London’s Mayfair and Belgravia.
