I have finished recording narration on the next video essay. It is a retrospective, of sorts, on the Resident Evil games. Hoping to have it up sometime in December or early next year. :)

Might get roasted for this but... I see some people annoyed by Silent Hill f's English dub. Someone mentioned that it was way too dramatic, borderline camp. I dunno though. It kind of reminds me of the original series in that way?

I forget the last time I've been so hot and cold as I am with Alien Earth. Love every third scene. Hate every fourth or so. Really didn't care for the last episode (episode 7) or the first two. Thoroughly enjoyed most of episodes 3 through 6. Alien costume looks dumb. Mase-man out.

they should remake Drakengard on UE5, it would be the only time in history it would be appropriate for a remake to also run like shit. the moment is yours, Square. the perfect remake is possible.

Switch 2 is probably the first console where I'm more excited to play last gen's games than anything new. Not sure what that says about me or the Switch 2.

Best GDQ run so far? Blue Prince bingo probably gets my vote. Loved the energy.

I think, as you get older and start to grapple with how temporary this all is, you start feeling something like FOMO towards things that actually matter. Like finding Magic The Gathering Final Fantasy Collector's booster packs for msrp.

28 Years Later is okay. Solid 7 or 8. Feels like the start of something instead of a complete flick. The ending's gotta be one of the weirdest creative swings I've seen in years from any media.

I stumbled upon the final fantasy MTG drop at my local Walmart. Insanity.

Every now and then I see someone on the Resident Evil subreddit say something to tune of "I don't get the hate for RE6" and it's just like... I'm not sure how to explain something that should already be so evident by the way it is.

If The Evil Within just had a bit more time in development, or maybe a bit more time to figure out what it was, it could have been a classic. The back half of that game is such a mess. Lots of frustrating instant deaths 🙄

There's a lot big youtubers than me out there struggling right now. Super Bunnyhop, Innuendo Studios ... I'm glad I never found real success or tried to make a real go of it. Don't quit your day job. Mine don't pay that much but it is rewarding and ... stable (at least compared to youtube.)
