The best streamers in the world are always looking to create good content, and I don't only mean for live, but also content that works well on YouTube. Because if it doesn't, then everything that they're doing on stream lost to one platform. Everything that they do has to be findable and shareable

Convenience is everywhere, but too much isn't good. AI should be a tool to HELP you think, not do your thinking. It should handle routine, repeatable tasks you don't need to learn while you focus on high-level execution and strategic thinking.

Creating content is supposed to be fun! It's more fun you don't have to do the stuff you hate. That's why you gotta delegate as soon as you can. Little by little, you'll eventually feel a huge weight off of your shoulders.

It's better to share the things you love rather than share the things you hate. Both are a stance. But only one puts positivity in the world.

Learning how to buy back my time is the next biggest thing I have to do. That will be the foundation to getting more things done

It's not about how many hours you stream. It's about how good your stream is. If you can't repurpose good content from your VODs, then you're not using your time and energy well.

Creativity is a muscle that must be trained. Yes, sometimes inspiration strikes and you do amazing things. But for the most part, it's the action that actually creates anything. Action = Improvement Improvement means the action is less scary to get started in the first place.

Comparison is the thief of joy—we've all heard it, but living it is another story. Lately, I've been finding myself lost in endless doom scrolling. Every post highlighted someone else's success: growing followers, making money, building a community, having financial freedom with little worries.

Single player gaming might be my saving grace. I'm way too competitive. So when I play multiplayer games, I try hard to the point where it's like another career. With single player games I can get lost and just enjoy myself. ❤️

The more you share the more like-minded people will find you.

Making educational content is WAY HARDER than making gaming videos, for me. I had a video that didn't do well at all. I wanted to share my process of tweaking the strategy with every new post or lesson. (posting an image because I don't have enough characters on here lol)

This seems to be the sentiment from A LOT of my creator friends. They just feel like they have to make content on social media instead of being social and engaging in discussions

A great tip for anyone who wants to include alt text is to throw it into chatgpt and ask it to describe the image to you for visually impaired people. It does a really good job!

I had a conversation with a friend the other day about the point of platforms like this. Most people use it right, but creators have a different perspective based on the goal to be discovered. Can't fault them. Biggest problem: Streamers posting "I'm Live" instead of having conversations.

Lots of discussion about 9-5 vs being a full time content creator. I think both sides had their own unique challenges. But essentially the real comparison is having a 9-5 vs being an owner of a media production company while also being the talent. I think that's a more realistic comparison.

You either make content for your younger self or a very specific type of person. Without knowing who you're making content for, how will people know it's for them? I'm talking about personality, belief systems, hobbies, interests, etc. Know your audience to know your content.
