The winterberry tray came out of bisque and it looks great! I'm thinking of holding off on the glazing until I see how the winterberry basket and soap dishes come out so I can switch up the glazes based on the results. We'll know soon!

I got my beautiful handled tray back from bisque and noticed a small crack along an edge. It's too big for glaze to fill in, so I applied a few layers of Bisque Fix and sent it back to the kiln for a re-fire. The repair looks good and should be completely sealed and ready for glazing soon!

I finished glazing my "Chinoiserie" replacement platter (damaged in transit to customer) and sent it off for the final glaze kiln firing yesterday. It should be ready by Wednesday or Thursday. So curious to see how close I got to the original (last photo).

Almost finished remaking my "Chinoiserie" platter, which was purchased on my Etsy shop in December and arrived in a million pieces. The customer asked me to remake it, which I'm always happy to do. It's almost ready for the final glaze kiln firing. Glad I take lots of process photos!

Here's a sweet little Winterberry serving platter that should be able to go to the bisque kiln this weekend. Holly leaves & berries on one side; bright winter stars on the other. Winter is still with us until March 20th, and this will be perfect for serving cakes, cookies, or even appetizers.

Here is the other serving tray from this week's kiln load. Once again, Georgies' Autumn Leaf interactive pigment was the perfect wipe-back under the celadon glazes. Now that I see it in color, I can see that the texture itself is a chinoiserie riff. It's probably why I like it so much!

Number 4 of 4! The last of my new chip & dips batch is on its way to the glaze kiln. This uses a "modified" Peacock glazing technique I've been wanting to try, as well as my new Mayco Spiced Cream glaze on the bottom, which is supposed to look great on textured surfaces. #KilnGodsBeKind

This is the third of four new chip & dip bowls, glazed using the Peacock Method. These are very time-consuming to glaze and it looks like such a mess, but they come out of the kiln looking just amazing!

Here's another autumn-themed serving tray in the works, this one with leaves and berries. As with all my textured works, I apply interactive pigment and wipe it back before glazing with celadons, so the textures will really pop. Can't wait to see how this one comes out!
