After the depressing events of last night it was good to stand with old friends & new & feel some positivity. It was also great to get so much support from MSPs & I enjoyed wee chats with #scotgreens Cara, Kate & Iris 💚💜✊.

Spent a beautiful, joyful, inclusive day in Edinburgh with our #unisonscot migrant workers in support of their call for fairer visas/sponsorships ... also learned some new dance moves. 💜✊🕺

The Government was told in no uncertain terms by the relevant committees that their pick for EHRC chair was not right for the role but they pressed ahead regardless. So here we have a rotten code being defended in these utterly nonsensical ways. This is embarrassing.

Didn't sleep well and woke up just before 4am to a lovely view from my bed so I did the sane thing and made tea and took it outside to watch the sun appear in the sliver of sky with no cloud.

If the gannets won't come to you then you have to go to the gannets! I spent a big chunk of the day getting soaked/drying out and hanging over cliffs at rpsb Troup Head. I am very happy.

It's been a nice afternoon for clouds. There's also a gannet in one - my phone camera isn't up to the job of catching fast birds in the sky - and a shag sunbathing (ditto for camera catching birds sitting on rocks)
