morning chick update: they came out from under mother hen & she was /stressed/ Still waiting & hoping the third egg hatches. It has another three days before we give up hope 🤞🏻

Watched a fat squirrel fall out of a tree and belly flop onto the ground. He ran back up the tree out of embarrassment 😔

🥚 egg update 🥚 We’re at 14 out of 21 days and currently we have three eggs that are viable and show life. One egg is questionable and I’ll let my hen keep it for now. One egg isn’t fertilized at all and I will be removing from my hen so it doesn’t explode on her.

$200 later I have a new tire 😵‍💫

Jk I have a flat tire so I will be dealing with that 😎

Done with work early so I will be getting food, getting high, & playing Dragon Age until further notice

Ugh my hen was in a different nesting box which had the other hens eggs (not fertilized or viable) when I went to shut the coop for the night. The viable eggs were cold, so I have no clue how long she was off of them. I hope they still hatch 😔

One of my chickens has been trying to hatch eggs, but I don’t have a rooster. So I got some potentially fertilized eggs for her to sit on. 🤞🏻 we get baby chicks in about 21 days!
