Still tinkering around in Godot while sending out applications. Tried out IK solutions for the feet, but they kinda broke the leg constraints...so I'm gonna ignore that for now. Also found out I may have to redo the player mech to make it move the way I want. #mecha #godot

Yup, can confirm that I like my new markers and fineliners. Don't mind the non-existing composition here, it just started with a scribble in the middle and I just wanted to fill the page.

Did not quite manage to fill the final pages of my sketchbook last year, but getting there. Trying out the new markers feels good, at least. Compared to everything else happening right now, anyways.

Okay, apparently I lied when I said my hyperfixation with Lancer has lessened. Currently making more maps for another oneshot. Hopefully, this one won't take me half a year to finish. Really like the "In Other Waters" style for the strategic maps, though. #LancerRPG #battlemaps

Earlier batches were Barricade, Bastion, Engineer and Hive. Here's Scourer, Ronin, a Ship Rainmaker(IGF veterans will know the one) and a Spacer Sentinel (piloting one of IGF's Shitty Local Mechs, aka an Impact Dynamic Raptor 4)

More ships from Ophelia's battlegroup. I don't have a name for this class of ship yet, they're mass printed in a variety of loadouts, as opposed to Ophelia's capital ships, which are usually one of a kind and have crazy weapons like Omni-guns or Metafold mazes. #Lancer #Mech #Horus #Ship

First scribbles for our Changeling the Lost group. Surely they'll get along just fine. Just escaped from the Hedge into whatever todays US holds in store for them. I'm sure they'll be fine. Right? Finally finished my Lancer "oneshot" (I mean, it only took like half a year...). Might get the chance to play Changeling the Lost after this, so I'm scribbling character ideas.

Testing some more things in Godot in order to find out if I still can find the fun in game development. Rewrote the character controller to allow strafing, still loads of things to finetune. Also opted for the two-legged mech as testframe due to hopefully being easier on me than the quadruped.

Instinctive reaction to too much paperwork and stress as of late: Build more mechs. Somehow ended up with a Stalker-lookalike with extra pauldrons, armored loincloth and actual arms. May redo a whole bunch, depending on how its joints and rig will work in Godot. Like the chonky look, though. #mecha

Also tested to see if a 2D topdown version of the mech game might be easier to do in Godot, but I may need to wrestle a lil more with the rigging to make it work. #mecha #Godot

Scribbling again, just for the heck of it. Last couple of days have been rather bad workwise. May need to polish up the ole portfolio again, from the looks of it. But for now, just scribbles. That sketchbook still has some last few blank pages...

019 - Metal The Bolverk Hegemony, also known as the Empire of Tears, took the mechanized powersuit technology pioneered by the Crixis Coalition and brought it to new levels. The Dreadknight-class combat mech unit was born with a fission heart and armed with a plethora of heavy weaponry.

That underwater "oneshot" I'm GMing for Lancer turned into a whole mini-campaign. Not complaining, just that I already have enough maps and mech tokens to warrant another asset pack. Anyway, gonna throw a minefield at my players next week, what's the worst that could happen? #Lancer_RPG #battlemaps

Not really satisfied with how this came out, but happy nonetheless to be drawing stuff again. Gotta shake off the rust.

Have not yet found the time to delve further into scripting with Godot, just watched a whole bunch of tutorials. Also made a placeholder enemy, some sort of mecha ant. Good practice rigging the thing, though I still need a better way to finetune the belly area. #mecha #GodotEngine
