I’ve been quiet. Close to burnout. Spent the past weeks deep in rewrites, wondering if the stories still mattered. Then a former Big Five editor critiqued my first page aloud at a conference and said the voice landed. No suggested revisions. Just keep swimming. You never know.

When I published No Heart for a Thief, I thought I would have the series done in two years. It turns out I was six months off.

And I'm not a doctor...😂😭💀

If I had a dollar for every emotional breakdown I had while writing, I’d finally be able to afford therapy and that overpriced hardback of my own damn book. IYKYK

I owe everything to salt and wind and pine. To tides that never begged forgiveness. To earth that rose up to cradle me when nothing else would. I write ruin and resilience, but it’s the wild that taught me both. #everydayisearthday
