Just found yet another Latin homograph ros, this time a borrowing from Hebrew ראש, lurking in Vetus Latina witnesses to Ezech. 39.1 (and in the Septuaginta too, but not in any Gk dictionaries or concordances so far). I think this is ros number 4.
