Tried to sketch a more recent mobile suit design, the XVX-016 Gundam Ariel from Mobile Suit Gundam: Witch From Mercury. But honestly, it's such a busy design, and I was too pressed for time. Couldn't finish it today. Maybe I'll pick it up tomorrow, or maybe I'll move on to something else.

A couple years ago, I decided to start getting into the Gundam franchise. With the original '79 Mobile Suit Gundam, as well as Witch From Mercury, I was hooked. This past weekend, I finished watching Zeta Gundam. What a wild ride.

There's something so funny about how Mario Kart, one of the most squeaky-clean We Refuse To Offend Anyone game series in existence, still manages to make something vaguely resembling a political statement with the Bowser Oil ads. Like. Oil industry is associated with the main villain of Mario.
