this sounds obvious in retrospect, but what i didnt even think about with the #SteamMachine is...if you have steam games you dont have to buy them again like with xbox nintendo and playstation. thats a huge plus.

I just don't get the point of a steam home console. To quote the people I hate, "just get a PC" What's the point of a locked down PC? What steam user wants that? With the steam deck at least it's portable and the selling point is bringing your games in the go easily.
