Davis, like many other christians, feel that our gov's purpose is that of a hammer against those she doesn't like. How about the religious try minding their own business for a change? Our government is not their fucking church, and it's an indictment of our so-called government to have to say it.

I know this is pedantic, but Kim Davis was not "jailed for refusing to issue same-sex marriage licenses." She was jailed for contempt of court because she refused to follow a court order (she had stopped issuing all marriage licenses). NYT makes it sound like the Woke Police broke down her door.
