Annie is the best dog. She brought the team to the finish of ATAO's first Copper Basin in single lead. I promised her at the end of that race she would get plenty of couch time when she retired.

Hey Fairbanks folks, Twinkle, adopted by our friend, decided to go adventuring this morning in West Fairbanks. Can folks help spread the word and keep an eye out for her?

Summer in Alaska is fire season. Had an exciting evening with a wildfire a couple miles down the road from us. Got the dog box on the truck and packed the expensive stuff (eg, harnesses and mushing gear!). Thankfully fire is out. Thanks @persistencemushing.bsky.social for helping us do a good drill!
