It is logical that, given the interpretation of the SC ruling of the separation of protected statuses, the protected characteristic of gender reassignment is separate to the protected characteristic of disability, therefore, asking trans people to use disabled facilities disadvantages both groups.

We got a response from the EHRC that answered exactly none of our questions, so we wrote to them again.

I hate to stoop low but this is what gender affirming care for ciswomen looks like. No controls, no psychiatric assessments. Permanently disfigured. This is where the real scandal is.
